  2. The capital of Japan is Tokyo.The highest mountain is Mt Fuji.The main language is Japanese.The main religions are Shinto,Buddist.Currency is yen,main ports are Tokyo Yokohama,Osaka,kobe.Japan catches around 14 per cent of the total world catch of fish.

  3. food Only 15 cent of the land mostly on the coastal plains can be farmed but despite thi japan is 70 per cent self sufficant in food coldest area hokkaido has average winter temperatures of 10C 14f

  4. Japan has numerous volcanoes, about two hundred, and many earthquakes. In fact, Japan has about three minor earthquakes every day of the year. Japan does have severe earthquakes too, such as the Great Kanto Earthquake that shook the country in 1923. This historic disaster demolished the cities of Tokyo and Yokohama and more than one hundred and twenty thousand lives were lost at that time. Japan is home to ten percent of the world's active volcanoes.

  13. Japan is definitely a country with rich history and tradition.I like Japanese simple flag beacuse it's white with red circle in the middle.I read in my book that Japan is also know as the "Land of the Rising Sun"
