FAIRTRADE - 'f' sound words

This week we have been studying the 'f' sound.
Write a short story using as many 'f' sound words as you can.
Remember this sound can be made in a number of ways- 'f', 'ff', 'ugh' and 'ph'.
Use each way as many times as you can.
This week's word list and scaffold text will help you.
Try writing your story about FAIRTRADE.

TBs for those stories published

  1. One day in February my mum, who would be forty tomorrow, wanted me to go shopping and out of sweetness I said," That would be just lovely." I went shopping with my mum in the new Tesco extra and I tried to persuade my mum to buy Fairtrade products more frequently and then I suggested, "Well maybe we could buy a Fairtrade birthday cake?"
"That would be just lovely," my mum said,"Which one should we choose"
"That is a surprise" I replied. So my mum and I got the final couple of things and headed back to the car "That was sufficient for one day!"she said
    "I know," I replied.

  2. Once upon a time there was a man called James who had a pet orphaned dolphin, he loved playing with balls shaped like a sphere. James and the dolphin had a wonderful friendship, they had great affection for each other. James put a lot of effort into training the dolphin, he loved to swim up and down his giant pool splishing and splashing through the water fountain.

  4. My best friend, Joe cannot stop laughing. Last February he was on a foreign holiday in France and he drank water from a fountain. The fountain's water had magical powers and tasted of roasted pheasant. As soon as he had swallowed his first mouthful, he started to laugh and he couldn't stop. He visited a french pharmacy and the staff were offended because they thought that he was laughing at them. They couldn't help him. Joe stopped at the Eiffel tower and inside they were selling Fairtrade products. At the top, he thought that he saw a phantom Pharaoh running after someone. Joe was miserable. He was very sorry that he had decided to go to France on a holiday. He should have gone to Florida to swim with the dolphins.
