'le' sound words

How have you been doing?

I've been writing mid-year summaries about your progress. In them you will read how I think you have got on so far in P6.

But, how do you think you have done?

This post is a platform for you to blow your own trumpet. By that I mean you can post a comment and in it boast of all the things you think you have improved on since you started P6. Try to be honest in your self-assessment but have fun thinking back over your last term's achievements.

Love Chocolate?

Most people like chocolate! It is made from the cocoa bean. FAIRTRADE is working in a number of countries to make sure the farmers who grow the cocoa beans are treated fairly.

Do some research on the Fairtrade website and see if you can come up with answers to the following questions:

Some chocolate producers have more than 10 fairtrade products, name the producers.

A Fairtrade cocoa farmer needs to meet certain standards- what are they?

Roughly what fraction of Kuapo Kakoo's chocolate farmers are women?

Name four countries where Fairtrade is making a difference to the lives of cocoa farmers.
